1. Could you tell us your story on dropping down?
It has always been the arm angle that was natural for me.
2. What are some of the advantages you have from your arm angle?
The advantage I see is that not many pitchers pitch from there and hitters aren't used to seeing that release point. Hitters have difficulty producing solid hits from sidearm pitchers.
3. If you didn't drop down, do you think you would have had the same success?
I think my success was in order to improve my control , and to get movement on the ball. To be able to mix my pitches well and stuck with it. I think I have had a successful career
4. What would you tell someone debating on changing their arm angle?
I think if a pitcher is able to use more than one arm angle it would be more effective because it would have more resources to work to hitters.
5. Are there any mechanical tips that you'd give to someone throwing sidearm/submarine?
N/A
6. What pitches do you throw?
Fastball, slider, sinker and changeup
7. How do you pitch to lefties/righties?
N/A
8. Lastly what is your favorite part about pitching from down there?
I like throwing sidearm because you create a situation of fear in the batter. Mixing up different arm angles is fun the hitter never knows what he is going to get
